On the other side of the city, the Liga de Deportes Urbanos holds a competition Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Skatepark de Plaza Haití on Avenida Dorrego 3636, in Palermo. Expect skaters, BMX riders, and inline skaters battling it out in the bowls and rails.

Rosh Hashaná and the Feria de los 9 Dragones

Buenos Aires’ Jewish community is marking the start of the year 5786 with Rosh Hashaná Urbano, a public celebration happening sometime this weekend.
